What You'll Need

General Installation Steps

1

Position the Brackets

Hold the brackets in position and mark the screw holes with a pencil. Use a spirit level to ensure they're level. For recess fitting, position brackets inside the frame. For face fitting, position above the frame.

2

Drill and Fix Brackets

Drill pilot holes at the marked points. Insert wall plugs if fixing to masonry. Secure the brackets with the screws provided.

3

Attach the Blind

Click or slide the blind headrail into the brackets. Most blinds simply clip in - push until you hear a click. Check the blind operates smoothly.

4

Secure and Test

Close the bracket covers if applicable. Test the blind raises and lowers smoothly. Adjust the tilt and draw functions.

Installation Tips

  • Always read the product-specific instructions included with your blind
  • Use the correct drill bit size for the wall plugs
  • Don't overtighten screws - this can damage the brackets
  • For heavy blinds, ensure brackets are securely fixed to solid material
  • Keep all hardware in case you need to relocate the blinds
